Autism often includes a regulation component

Autism is not one “type” of brain.

Many families are navigating sleep issues, sensory overwhelm, anxiety, irritability, attention challenges, and emotional regulation difficulties, alongside strengths and unique wiring.

In many cases, the goal isn’t to “change who a child is.” It’s to support the brain’s ability to regulate and function with less friction.

Brain treatment center NoVa uses qEEG brain mapping to understand patterns that may relate to regulation, attention, and arousal, then builds a personalized MeRT plan when appropriate.

We often pair care with complementary supports (OT, functional health inputs, structured home routines) because progress is fastest when the brain and body are supported together.
