NEUROFEEDBACK

Personalized EEG Brain Training | Children + Adults | Ashburn + Alexandria

Your Brain Learns From Feedback.
We Can Train It to Regulate Differently.
When the brain becomes stuck in patterns of hyperarousal, underactivation, poor attention, disrupted sleep, sensory overwhelm or emotional reactivity, simply trying harder isn't always enough.
Neurofeedback gives the brain something different: real-time information about its own activity.
Over time, that feedback can help the brain practice more flexible and regulated patterns of functioning.

Neurofeedback is a non-invasive form of brain training that helps the brain improve its ability to self-regulate through real-time feedback of brainwave activity. By reinforcing healthier brain patterns over time, Neurofeedback may help strengthen attention, emotional regulation, stress resilience, sleep, cognitive performance, and overall nervous system function. It is commonly used to support individuals struggling with ADHD, anxiety, PTSD, TBI-related symptoms, chronic stress, and nervous system dysregulation.

For veterans, first responders, individuals with PTSD or TBI-related symptoms, and children with attention or nervous system regulation challenges, Neurofeedback may help improve the brain’s ability to shift out of chronic survival mode and into healthier patterns of regulation and recovery.

Patients often seek Neurofeedback to support improvements in focus, emotional regulation, sleep, cognitive clarity, stress tolerance, sensory processing, and overall daily functioning as part of a comprehensive brain and nervous system recovery program.

WHAT DOES BRAIN DYSREGULATION ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE?

The teenager who feels everything intensely and goes from “fine” to completely overwhelmed in seconds.

The child who holds it together all day, then falls apart at home.

The veteran who knows the threat is over, but whose nervous system hasn't gotten the message.

The adult whose body is exhausted, but whose brain won't shut off.

The person who sleeps eight hours but wakes up feeling like their brain never truly powered down.

The high performer who can manage incredible complexity, but can't turn their brain down when the work is finished.

The adult who is constantly overstimulated by noise, people, demands, or everyday life and needs hours to recover.

The person who can focus intensely on one thing, but can't consistently direct their attention where

they need it.

These experiences can look very different on the outside.

But they can share something important:

The brain may be having difficulty shifting efficiently between states.

WHAT TO EXPECT

We start with you. We discuss your goals, symptoms, history, current challenges, and what you hope to improve through Neurofeedback.

1. Consultation

A qEEG brain map helps us better understand patterns of brain activity and identify areas that may benefit from targeted training.

2. Brain Mapping

Your Neurofeedback protocol is developed around your individual brain patterns and goals. Training is adjusted over time based on progress and response.

3. Personalized Protocol

Neurofeedback is a learning process that requires repetition. A typical course may involve 20–40 sessions, with progress monitored throughout and the plan adjusted when appropriate.

The goal: not to change who you are, but to help your brain become more flexible, efficient, and regulated.

4. Train + Reassess
