At Brain Treatment Center NoVA, we provide comprehensive, brain-based and functional care for military members, veterans, first responders, their families, children across all areas of the autism spectrum, and individuals seeking root-cause focused solutions for whole-person health, nervous system recovery, and brain optimization.

Our multidisciplinary approach combines advanced brain-based therapies with functional and integrative care to support recovery, resilience, cognitive performance, emotional regulation, and long-term wellness.

We understand these challenges are rarely “just mental health” or “just physical health.” Our team takes a whole-person approach that looks at brain function, trauma, sleep, stress physiology, inflammation, lifestyle factors, metabolic health, and nervous system regulation to help individuals regain function, improve quality of life, and move forward with purpose.

Aetna,Tricare and VA Community Care Network (VACCN) are accepted for covered services.

qEEG Brain Mapping & Functional Neuro Assessments

qEEG brain mapping helps evaluate brainwave activity and functional patterns within the brain. This information helps guide personalized treatment planning and allows us to better understand patterns associated with stress, TBI, PTSD, mood concerns, attention difficulties, and nervous system dysregulation.

MeRT, TMS & Neuromodulation

We provide personalized neuromodulation therapies including MeRT and TMS designed to support healthier brain regulation and connectivity. These therapies may help individuals struggling with PTSD, depression, TBI-related symptoms, anxiety, sleep disruption, and nervous system dysregulation.

Our rTMS program for depression is billable to Tricare and other insurance if requirements are met for covered services.

Neurofeedback

Beginning soon at both clinic locations, Neurofeedback is a non-invasive form of brain training that helps individuals improve self-regulation of brain activity through real-time feedback. Neurofeedback may support attention, emotional regulation, sleep, stress resilience, and cognitive performance.

Integrative Psychiatry & IV Ketamine Therapy

Our integrative psychiatry services combine traditional psychiatric care with a broader focus on brain health, nervous system function, and physiological contributors to mental health symptoms.

Services include psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and IV ketamine therapy for appropriate candidates.

Mental Health Counseling Programs

We offer trauma-informed counseling services specifically designed for veterans, first responders, military personnel, and their families.

Our counseling programs address:

  • PTSD and complex trauma

  • anxiety and depression

  • operational stress injuries

  • adjustment and transition concerns

  • relationship and family stress

  • nervous system regulation and resilience

Occupational Therapy & SPIN

Our occupational therapy team focuses on nervous system regulation, sensory integration, and functional recovery.

We also offer SPIN (Somatic Program for Integrative NeuroBalancing), an integrative program designed to support individuals struggling with PTSD, TBI, chronic stress, hypervigilance, and nervous system dysregulation through somatic approaches, movement, regulation strategies, and brain-body integration.

Functional & Integrative Health

Our functional health program evaluates physiological contributors that may impact brain function, mood, energy, inflammation, recovery, and overall wellness.

This may include advanced laboratory testing, nutritional support, lifestyle interventions, and metabolic health optimization designed to support both brain and body recovery.

Nutritional & Lifestyle Support

Recovery requires more than symptom management alone. Our team works with patients to support:

  • sleep and recovery optimization

  • inflammation reduction

  • metabolic and mitochondrial health

  • stress physiology and nervous system balance

  • nutrition and lifestyle foundations for long-term wellness

MagVenture Pain Therapy

Coming soon, MagVenture pain treatment will provide non-invasive magnetic stimulation designed to support chronic pain management and functional recovery.

Autism Assessments & Neurodevelopmental Support

We provide comprehensive autism assessments and neurodevelopmental evaluations designed to help families better understand cognitive, behavioral, sensory, and nervous system patterns impacting daily functioning. Our team works with children across all areas of the autism spectrum using a whole-person approach that considers brain function, nervous system regulation, sensory processing, inflammation, sleep, and overall wellness.

IV Therapy for Wellness & Recovery

Our IV therapy program utilizes high-quality nutrient blends designed to support hydration, immune health, recovery, mitochondrial function, energy production, and overall wellness. IV therapy may be incorporated into broader recovery and optimization programs for individuals seeking additional physiological support.

Red Light Therapy, Vielight & PEMF Therapy

We offer supportive wellness modalities including red light therapy, Vielight neurostimulation, and PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) therapy designed to support nervous system regulation, circulation, cellular health, recovery, relaxation, and overall brain and body wellness.

Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)

Our low-pressure hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber provides gentle oxygen-based support designed to assist with brain health, cellular recovery, circulation, inflammation reduction, and nervous system recovery. Mild HBOT may help support cognitive clarity, recovery after stress or injury, energy production, and overall wellness as part of a comprehensive care plan.

Our team is uniquely connected to the community we serve.

Brain Treatment Center NoVA was founded and is led by members of the military and special operations community, including a retired Army Green Beret, military spouses, and providers who have worked extensively with veterans, first responders, and operational populations.

This lived experience, combined with clinical and integrative training, allows our team to approach care with a deeper understanding of deployment, operational stress, transition, trauma, family strain, and the long-term effects of service.

We believe informed care comes not only from education and credentials, but from truly understanding the population through both professional experience and real-world life alongside it.

We currently accept Tricare, VACCN, and Aetna.

We anticipate in-network status with BCBS soon.
